About
Fiddlehead Farm

Since 2012, we've been growing vegetables on ten acres in Prince Edward County, Ontario. What started as a vision for small-scale agriculture has grown into a year-round vegetable farm serving families throughout PEC and surrounding areas.

Growing Food That Supports People and the Land

We believe small farms play an important role in building strong communities and a resilient local food system. For us, growing food means caring for the land, making thoughtful choices throughout the growing season, and building a direct connection between the people who grow food and the people who eat it.

Our farming practices focus on building healthy soil, supporting biodiversity, using resources responsibly, and reducing food waste. We work with the seasons and harvest to order whenever possible. We plan carefully, grow thoughtfully and make the most of every harvest.

Meet Your Farmers:
Stephanie & Heather

Fiddlehead Farm is owned and operated by Stephanie and Heather, partners in both farming and life.

Since 2012, they’ve worked full-time, year-round on the farm, growing vegetables and building a resilient local food system that connects families in Prince Edward County.

As a small farm, everyone plays a role. Stephanie and Heather work alongside their dedicated team to plan crops, care for the fields, harvest vegetables, pack orders, deliver produce, and keep the farm running throughout the year.

Stephanie

Stephanie's creativity shines through in the many moving parts of the farm. She's the crop planner, fertility manager, field coordinator, tractor mechanic, builder, and resident jokester.

She's constantly planning ahead, from crop schedules to improvements around the farm, while her weekly garden walks help keep the team focused on what needs to happen next.

Heather

Heather loves teaching and connecting with customers, whether she's sharing what's happening on the farm through weekly newsletters or helping customers get the most out of their vegetables.

She's also busy coordinating the harvests, deliveries, and keeping the business running behind the scenes through customer service, human resources, finance, and marketing.

Heather is also happy to serve customers en français y en español!
